I met Kevin in Seattle once. He let us into his trailer and offered my friends and I pizza. But I was so nervous and didn't want to be rude So I denied it and said we should be going so you can get ready for the race lol.. Such a great guy. God bless you and your family Kevin.

Windham is my favorite racer of all time. The natural talent he has is incredible. Lechein was like that too. Kevin is one of only a handful of racers who could beat Carmichael at MX or McGrath at SX during their prime. He beat Ricky straight up twice during the 2003 MX season. Hope we get to see him race again someday.... maybe Loretta's 😊?

I believe you knew my Uncle. Bill McAwee. Not sure if that’s spelt right. I remember when I use to race he would tell me to come down there and he would get you to train me. Not sure what true that was, but was always cool to know that he knew you. He was an old Cajun. Flew planes, hunted alligators, set lines for fish. He died probably 5 years ago.
