On the Road with the Schuberth C5 and E2 | Review

I live on the southern coast of Turkey, which is quite hot in the summer months. My reason for choosing between the two helmets is that they have better ventilation. Which one is better in this regard?

In this video, the ventilation is very much similar. Ports are more than big enough to give a great breeze when needed. It's mostly down to the type or riding you do if its mostly on the road then no question the C5 is the one you'd like and if mostly off-road or more slower speed rugged terrain then the E2

Ich kann den Helm Schuberth E2 aus meiner Sicht nicht empfehlen! Erstens, das Sonnenvisier hat überhaupt keinen festen Sitz und kann schon im Stand ca. 1.5 - 2 cm hin und her bewegt werden was während der Fahrt zu flattern beginnt. Das Flattern überträgt sich spürbar auf den Helm und vor allem auf das Visier welches zu vibrieren anfängt. Wenn das Visier ein Stück geöffnet ist, sind die Vibrationen bei 120-130 km/h so stark das die Sicht verzerrt wird. Zweitens, das Kinnriemen ist so angebracht dass es bei mir permanent leicht gegen den Kehlkopf drückt was unangenehm ist, wird das Kopf nach unten geneigt so drückt der Riemen schmerzlich gegen den Kehlkopf was eine langfristige Benutzung unmöglich macht. Als Referenz auf dem selben Bike fahre ich Klim Krios Pro und Schuberth SR2.

I've had an E2 for 3 years. It's a nice lid but rain runs down the inside of the visor. I've also got a Tourmax and that one is fine. Must be a design quirk of the Schuberth. A little disappointing given the cost.

Just checked my receipt and I bought it in Oct 2017 but it’s the E1 not the E2.but the identical E1 & E2 are identical.
