Wow ..what a trip that was .. I first saw slate workings up there in 1963. And of course some quarries were still producing.. been fascinated by slate and its mines ever since ... always wondered what was up that long incline through the black hole.now I now after many years. Brilliant video totally enhanced by some brilliant drone flying. ..thank you both ..look forward to more.. Dave Dear from Coventry.

There are so many old mines around this area it is really fascinating. A lot have just been left with machinery still present. It’s great to look around for sure
