Smiley has a very interesting story & was in a lot of pain doing this interview, he hopes to better himself & his circumstance's, I could feel his pain & was so emotional that my heart broke for him. I am following Smiley up in the near future to get a better understanding for myself and others. Smiley has a story of being incarcerated many times for various crimes, suffers from various mental health disorders & currently homeless on the streets of Melbourne. He has a big heart and only wants to change his circumstances, trying every avenue to gain the support he needs, I want to help Smiley be in a better place mentally and physically, to feel safe, have security and get off the streets of Melbourne. I want Smiley to know he has purpose, I want him to know he matters, this is what I want for all of the people homeless on the streets of Melbourne, my heart is in this as I've been in dire situations myself, I believe in Smiley, he also has trust issues so I really commend him taking the time to do this interview with me to help try to improve his life and help others in the process, by showing and educating people in Melbourne & around the world, make an impact on the lives of the youth, this is some of his story. I hope you see that some people in Melbourne are in really bad & serious situations, hear their unheard voices, pain & misery expressed in times of trials and tribulations in their lives. Human beings who need to be listened to, voices that need to be heard, how can we help, we help them by listening, we help by asking them #ruok, lets see where support services have failed these people like Smiley and see what areas they need to improve on, see how or where it's broken and find solutions to fix them. Make sure you ring someone you care about or haven't heard from in a while and ask them if they're ok, you never know how much that could mean to someone, you could be saving someone's life with a few kind words & you wouldn't know it.
Never judge anyone, we're all on the same planet, we all feel the same pain, we're all human beings just trying our best with what we have, and some people have nothing, no home ,no family, no friends or people they can depend on, or anywhere they can go, other than to sleep on the cold concrete of the streets.
Empathy, compassion, love & Peace✌️
I'll have my story and experiences to share in the future, Stick around and see what I'm all about and what I want to do to help others, I hope you trust the process and believe in what I'm doing. Regards U.V.M.
I acknowledge the Traditional true land owners & pay respect for the elders and Tribes of the this land here now. Past and future.

Good video. Shows the complex nature of individual thinking through mental health issues of the individual, lack of trust in the services that can assist someone but an inability to understand due to long term substance abuse, and also the complex nature of decision making for an individual that just wants to do the right thing, only to have been indoctrinated into a world of drugs with social-economic factors like family and upbringing being big factors.

Hey mate, ive subbed. I was homeless and drug addicted most my life. Thank you for documenting the stories and not just using this as a platform for your monetary gain, like most other channels. Im enjoying your content. These people need to be heard, rather than ignored. We are not monsters. We are human to. Much love and support ☮️❤️

Thank you for your comment it's really appreciated❤️, Hopefully in the near future I can start an initiative to actually get these people the right support they need, like set up Gofund me pages for each individual I interview, or raise funds for the homeless, or people who are in a crisis , get them in the right programs they require, sometimes the public health system let's these people down. Its people like you on my channel that I like in my community and I'm happy you're in a better place. Regards Michael.

I want everyone to be a part of it, in real time I'm figuring out a game plan. A strategy that involves everyone, everything can be transparent, I want to start a movement, but first I need support, and that's everyone first

Hi there, UV.M was born in Melbourne, Australia. U.V.M Think's its important to acknowledge this country showing awareness of, and respect for, the owners and true traditional custodians of this land on which we gather and film on. I also have footage showing indigenous people's on this channel, which I asked permission to film. Showing acknowledgment pays respects to all tribes, the young, the old and elders past, present and emerging, stating we know who the (original) people & custodians of this land are, that we call Australia, my home. Before the British empire took over British settlement of Australia began as a penal colony governed by a captain of the Royal Navy. Before the British came over, the originals were all ready here, this was and always has been their home, for thousands of years before any boat touched the shore line. Aboriginal slavery disguised as 'Protectionism' Between the 1860s and the 1970s, The original people of all ages were taken and ripped from their homes and sent to work as basically slaves, on cattle and sheep properties, in kitchens, homesteads, shearing sheds or on the land, all across Australia. Us Australians call them the stolen generation. U.V.M Pays their respects. So when we acknowledge them in our descriptions, we pay our respects when filming on their land.

@@UnheardVoicesMelbourne Irrelevance of Historical Context: Some may argue that acknowledging the traditional custodians and their history is irrelevant to the present. They might claim that what happened in the past has no bearing on the current situation and that it is unnecessary to dwell on historical events when discussing present-day matters. Distraction from Other Issues: Critics might contend that focusing on acknowledging indigenous peoples detracts attention from other pressing issues such as economic development, social welfare, or environmental concerns. They could argue that resources and efforts should be directed towards addressing more immediate challenges rather than dwelling on historical events. Divisiveness and Identity Politics: Some individuals may argue that emphasizing the distinction between indigenous and non-indigenous communities fosters division and perpetuates identity politics. They may believe that it is more productive to promote unity and a sense of shared national identity rather than highlighting differences and historical grievances. Overemphasis on the Past: Critics might claim that constantly referring to historical events such as the stolen generation or the British colonization of Australia keeps society trapped in a cycle of victimhood and prevents progress. They may argue that it is more important to focus on the present and the future rather than dwelling on past injustices.

@@robbiesheppard3280 if you like to talk to me email me at the email address in the description of this channel. I clearly can't explain myself hear, but it's out of basic respect for my fellow Koori's and their belief system, let's just say you're not even aloud to touch the soil in some parts of Australia, unless you get permission from indigenous communities and tribes, and even then so, some places and territories in Australia, only original woman are aloud to go, men aren't aloud to step foot in some places and vise versa, because of their spiritual belief systems and customs, so filming them is basically like that. I have to acknowledge them and pay my respects because Ive filmed them. Hope that clears things up for you. Sincerely U.V.M
