How come those western chinese experts/think tank still don't understand simple explanation. China is open to foreign direct investment but not Speculators. You can read how the foreign media is rejoicing about the collapse of Evergrande and they are speculating on whether the central government will bail out Evergrande. China's government said it nicely. Houses are a basic necessity and is meant for people to provide people with a home, not for speculating and enriching oneself, like in "free" countries. Let the Evergrande episode be a lesson to others. Businesses are not meant to make obscene profits for the greedy at the expense and well-being of the people. Another example was the company that made obscene profits out of after school tuition for school kids. This is bad for the education and school system in the overall education of children. Teachers will he neglecting their professionalism in teaching the young and may leave the teaching to the tuition companies whose teachers most likely are the school teachers engaged to teach children in their schools. The Chinese government cares and look after the welfare of its people and the country.

China’s cpi is 0.7% in February meaning that the economy is growing positive with a small percentage of “inflation” which is very good indeed. China’s target of economic growth of 5% for 2024 is realistic as the export increases with over 7% in the last two months. Investors from the west can only find a positive return on investment in a steadily growing economy such as in China with healthy investment climate. Big companies have gone into China as there is no more incentive to invest in the EU or the usa.

in the wake of the Anerucan war on Iraq as the US was facing condemnation from Western Europe, especilly the then French president Jacque Chirac, the US son of a Bush said to this effect: the America doesn't need an old Western Europe (vis a vis younger Eastern Europe who were queuing to join American led or rather manipulated NATO), the US market of more than 300 million consumers with big pockets, the US doesn't need the world but rather the world need the US. The message is clear: Trade is the weapon of choice. Trading with the US at your own peril. After 4 years under Trump regime's intensifying trade war & anti China rhetorics, 14 May 2020 China put forward The economic policy of Dual Circulation. The CPC later revised by the Gen. Secretary, Mr. Xi Jinping to stress prioritizing "internal circulation". Now avery Chinese can proudly say to the face of the American war mongers this: We want commercial trading with the US since it will benefit both of us & to an extent the world. However, we are not desperately want to do so. If you, the US, want to trade with us. You need to learn how to RESPECT OTHERS & Yourself. China has the greatest Middle Class Population in the world. Yes we need the world, but the world also need us. It's mutual.
@Heegooat6 ай бұрын
Wow! Chiraq said that? Its true that US does not need other countries to be prosperous apart from immigrants to fill excess jobs. Even the dollar being THE reserve currency is not beneficial to the US something that even prominent economists don't understand. It means US has to operate on a large deficit and take on increasing debt. It has to let the dollar free float. Strong dollar =deindustrialization. That's why china which has massive dollar surplus buys US debt. Same with Japan, Korea, Germany.

@@Heegooat Red Sea crisis is still going on after 60 days and disrupting global supply chains. Main maritime carriers - like Maersk, MSC, Evergreen, CMA CGM - keep diverting all container vessels from Red Sea routes around Africa’s Cape of Good Hope. The number of cargo ships in the Red Sea has decreased by 90% compared to 2023 (Clarksons Research). The repercussions of the Suez Canal Crisis reverberated across the global shipping industry. Hundreds of large vessels are rerouting around the southern tip of Africa, a longer route adding 10-14 days of travel, to escape drone and missile attacks by Yemeni Houthis. This has created a multiple-front storm for global trade: freight rates increasing daily, due to longer shipping times and container ships and oil tankers’ shortage (occupied for longer). Higher insurance costs must then be added to the cost of fuel. The Red Sea attacks by Houthi forces have triggered a notable surge in demand for rail shipments from China through Russia to Europe, offering an alternative as maritime routes face disruptions. For example, the Rail Bridge Cargo, a Dutch logistics company, said to CNBC China-Europe rail route bookings were up 37% from the beginning of the crisis. Rail goods trains are a very efficient way of shipping from China to Europe, they are cheaper than air freight and take much less time to travel from China to Europe than sea freight (18-22 days) The China rail freight to Europe is known as the Eurasian Continental Bridge. It is the longest railway line in the world, passing through Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland and Germany before reaching its final destination.
