On the Trapline Ep. 1 - The 2021-22 Trapping Season has Begun!

It is once again time to hit the trapline! Watch as we begin setting up the line and start to see the fur rolling in! We are setting and using power rams on multiple coyote baits to form a nice stretch of trapline that we will run and maintain this winter. We are mainly focusing on coyotes but also spend a great deal of time wolf snaring, and may do a little bit of beaver and fisher trapping as well. It should be a fun year out in the bush, on the trapline!
Welcome to Traplines and Inlines, this channel focuses on my dog and I on our remote Off the Grid Homestead in Northern Canada. I make videos on off grid homesteading and building, trapping, chickens, mechanical projects, and hunting and fishing.
I went offgrid and started building my cabin over two years ago, while I was still in highschool. Since then I have built many things at the homestead and have had the priviledge of learning many things along the way.
The homestead is designed to be relatively low maintenance and with extremely minimal expenses. All of my electricity comes from solar power, heat from woodstoves, and I haul all my water so I dont have any monthly costs associated with my homestead.
I love the lifestyle, especially because it gives me the absolute freedom to do whatever I please. I plan on continuing to tackle awesome projects and work at building and fixing many more things, and I cant wait to share them with you on the channel.

I love your channel, it always brings me so much peace. Lately I’ve been really struggling with my ocd (contamination) and a minor mice issue. I love them but not near my house or seeing them dead, I had pet rodents so it makes me sad too. Your gentle and grounded demeanour, especially when handling so many hides, has helped desensitize me and find a sense of calm when dealing with the dead lil mice. Thanks for the upload as always man!
