Just found your channel. You do nice work that is relatable. I’ve got a Bobcat e50. It’s a great machine, I like your Kubota too.

Another master class for small excavator use. Personally when I see a small pond like that, I want to make it larger. Rarely do but fun to think about. Enjoy 2024

Awesome job. That's cool - shaping the lower road from above. Usually I see you shaping from below. Good work!

I like the time lapse. Good function to compress, especially since you do a lot more than we see on camera.

Gosh you live dangerously. You are getting super close to watery muddy edge. Stay safe.

It felt a lot firmer than I expected, but that edge was still very much in my mind. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day 😊

Hey nice work! Just curious, when it comes time to replace the 40 are you planning to get another one or maybe a U48? I’m always impressed by all you do with the 040. On one hand it’s a relatively small machine, but it does a lot of good work for its size. They need to update it though.
@jeramyreberpuredirt78738 ай бұрын
I will stay with the 040. But at some point, I want to add a 080 to my fleet and still have the 040. Just trying to figure out how to pay for it. Thanks for watching and have a wonderful evening 😀
@mikel95677 ай бұрын
They have updated it. Thats what the -4 means. Not really sure what more you would want out of it. It already is about as capable as a machine that size can get.
@whalerlife537 ай бұрын
@@mikel9567 the -5 series are the latest ones currently. The 040-4 has been out for a while.
@jeramyreberpuredirt78737 ай бұрын
@mikel9567 I tried out a new 057-5 I honestly didn't like all the new computer stuff. I actually like the -4 layout better. I figure more frills, the more shit to go wrong. And I agree with you, the 040-4 is pretty hard to beat. Frills in the cab doesn't make it perform any better. I am not saying the -5 isn't a very nice machine it is. I just like simple.

Do u ever watch any hedblom video. What do u think about a tilt/rotator cuff
@jeramyreberpuredirt78738 ай бұрын
No, I don't watch him. And no, I don't have any interest in a tilt/rotor. My friend Zach runs a tilt/rotator, and it works great for his specialty stuff. But when it comes to flat moving dirt, his machine was more productive with the standard buckets. They definitely have their place. But I get along fine without and the astronomical price it costs to set a machine up, it's not for me. Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful day 😊

I have the same machine but with rubber tracks. Is there an advantage to steel tracks?
@jeramyreberpuredirt78738 ай бұрын
For the work I do, yes. They have better traction, better flotation, give the machine better stability and last about 4 times longer. I have had a set of tracks last over 5,000hrs. They are noisy in the dry times, but I have run dozer for years and am used to it. Thanks for watching and have a wonderful evening 😀

So did the spray you put on the plastic attract much dust and dirt? Like when you Armour all tires and drive down a dirt road?
@jeramyreberpuredirt78738 ай бұрын
I don't know. My wife uses it on her Toyota FJ, and I don't remember it really making the dust stick but I can't say for sure. I do know it lasts a long time. It's not dust right now, so I can't test it either. Guess I wasn't much help on that question. Have a great day 😀

Do they make or is there anyway you could fabricate some type of rub rail to help protect the counter weight?
