He obviously wanted to do this role. He enjoyed doing it. An actor can do a variety of roles. They can't always do melodrama or historic dramas. I found Bin Bin through this drama and I enjoyed this.

I was thinking the same thing as the valley girl comment! The first chinese drama I'd watched was a wuxia; so after that, its very difficult to watch most cdramas. I wonder if it's because chinese is a tonal language. I hear the same issue in thai dramas but with men 😬
