I saw Liu Qing on the thumbnail and clicked. The storyline is one of my most disliked. I don't understand how you're married for years, even had a wedding night of sorts, and don't know what your marriage partner looks like. And you have your marriage certificate!

In these dramas, the wedding rituals are really ridiculous. They get the official marriage certificate, but aren't actually married until they have the ceremony [in a white western style dress no less]. I need somebody to enlighten me on these things.

@@pamconnell3742 in my country we have three types of recognised marriage: civil, church and traditional. Civil is the only one with actual legal ramifications. Also only very few churches have the legal right to process the marriage licence. For every marriage outside the civil one, the union still needs to be officially registered to be lawful if not legal. The traditional marriage though recognised lacks legal protections and is open to polygamy. Most churches require the couple be joined legally (ie civilly) before performing the blessings. The Catholic church here goes as far as saying couples be married at least a year before the wedding (the diocese in my neck of the woods at least, maybe others don't have this caveat) I'm guessing China is the same, the civil affairs bureau is for the law, while the rest is for the public.

**Spoilers** **5/10** Both leads are 2 of my fav short drama actors and their performance in this is good BUT even they could not save this show from its absolutely horrible script. The amount of stupidness going constantly is unfathomable. The stolen identity trope is already absurd but the amount of silly misunderstand that are piled on makes every character on this show insanely brainless that they can't seem to figure anything out makes this a very frustrating watch. The evil one's mindset is so far beyond human comprehension that she makes the worst mentally ill patients look like Einstein and in turn makes this show too unrealistic that it becomes stupid and will lower your IQ if you try to watch it 😂

This is not as bad as the comments say it is actually cute with two of our favorite leads ML and FL. They are so cute together. The writing and editing is amateurish but the plot was good just not delivered well. It is better than the last few short dramas I have seen. I don't know why the villain wore the same evening dress through he entire drama. Maybe she was trying to be notice and upstage the FL. Well, it did not work the only thing I noticed was the dress and could not tell you what she looked like. (Note: To female actors please do not overuse the pink make-up.)

El estatus social para ellos importa muchísimo. Allá no es como en Latinoamérica. La decisión la toman los padres para ascender socialmente digamos. Salvo que ambos sean independientes y tengan carreras que les permitan vivir del amor y pagar las cuentas de sus hogares. Incluso recuerdo a una de las hijas de mi jefe dejar al novio que tenía acá, un argentino que no era oriental, para viajar las 40 horas en avión y casarse con el hijo de una familia acomodada de Beijing.
