Got to beat what's in front of you. Was and have been really pleased with the levels of maturity shown in the opening 3 games. Our players are playing with their chests puffed out and full of confidence, so refreshing.

Sincerely, I think the real stars of the show this season would have to be the fans in the stadiums! They've been amazing! I still can't get over what they did for Saliba after that own goal last week. Now to give him his own song? Tops! I agree with this team being the most exciting in the league. I think Tim Stillman gave a fair warning about Jesus, that he really hasn't realized his full potential despite all those medals at City. When you then combine all those young players, we have something to really look forward to. There'll still be bumps along the season, but I think the fans are poised to keep this squad going.

Granite is playing the same role for Arsenal now, as he plays for Switzerland. No wonder Jose wanted him. He's excellent in this role.

Flawless victory. Odegaard haters can pipe down. So important with the build-up play, controlling and he's scoring. Partey was a beast. This is the Partey we signed from Madrid. Saliba with an absolute screamer, is bloody fantastic. He going to be very important this season. Zinchenko in that inverted rol is so good. Makes us so dangerous attacking and creating so much more. Too bad that goal from Jesus was offside. But he'll come back. But Jesus doesn't have to score twenty-plus goals. We're scoring goals all over the pitch! Nine points out of three games.For the first time since 2004. Dreaming tonight of big things but need to take it game by game. Next up a surprisingly good Fulham. COYG!

Let's be honest it was Bournemouth a championship team don't get 2 excited

IMO these 50/50 offside situations, where the attacker is clearly IN LINE should always favour the attacker. Even if he is literally few millimetres offside. There should be like a 10cm margin where offside doesn't count, otherwise offside calls are just too random in practice.
@M25clockwise2 жыл бұрын
Wenger wants to change the rule to make it onside if a part of the attacker's body is in line with the defender. Giving an advantage to the attacker and making the margin of error a stride length rather than a millimetre

In fairness James I think the fans did take account of the teams we played the first 3 games last season. Or it would of been pitch forks and flaming torches. At least the rational fans did. Anyway great to have this Good feeling at the moment none of us should get be getting carried away but we should definitely enjoy it. Let's all go on this trip together. If we can stay together who knows where it ends up. And anyway isn't it better fun when we stay together and not argue amongst ourselves. Come you Gunners and Gooners.

Do you find a backup/replacement for Xhaka in this window or do you wait till next year for Charlie Pantino? (After his loan at Blackpool finishes) and stick with what we have.
@RavenZahadoom2 жыл бұрын
James I really really hope you mention this again on the arscast (3:05) because I think you've hit the nail on the head there. Wenger did condition us to give youngsters a chance and support them (although that is always easier when your winning). I think it's a really important part of what is happening with the team and fanbase bond, after all only 3 guys today actually came from the academy and yet it feels like the fanbase has taken every young player to heart in the same way we have with the Hale End boys. Wenger leaving a lasting legacy was never in douht, but is the professors lessons effecting us even now, actively, without us much noticing it?
@manuel_winde2 жыл бұрын
The team are all likeable, trying and there’s an active move to reconnect the fans and the club after years of us just being taken for granted/our finances. Not sure it’s anything to do with a lasting legacy from Wenger personally, the players were pampered and allowed to do what they wanted for far to long and now the new culture is appreciated and recognised by the support. It was the same last year when they were applauded off after losing to city as we could see they gave their all. The players acknowledge the support too now- I was out in Moscow when the players didn’t even clap the travelling support under Wenger and that wasn’t unusual. I’m not a Wenger hater- (I have huge love and respect for him)
@RavenZahadoom2 жыл бұрын
@@manuel_winde I think you missed the emphasis on 'giving youngsters a chance and supporting them'. I wasn't looking at it broadly, just as James wasn't at the time stamp I referenced
@manuel_winde2 жыл бұрын
@@RavenZahadoom but I think we give anyone a chance if they try hard and play well- that’s the same at any club in the world. No club in the world wouldn’t get behind Saka, ESR and Saliba etc (because they’re good)

Hi, if it was because of the fixture list why was the last time we did it was 2004/05? Arteta & Edu have done great ✔️ 👏 I haven't felt calm in 3 games in a LONG time 😶 if we can get a goalscoring RW and a cm I think top 3 is possible & Europa League.

Honestly, if Saliba is going to keep to play like that, he will be worth 100mil inna bit. Partey is not on his 100% yet, Xhaka on his Peek? I don't know, I have a slight feeling he will get better then he is already, if he cuts the mistakes and gets more love from the fans. I still believe we need a back up for Jesus cause I am not sure if Nketia will be enough. I would love someone to compete with Saka and maybe a back up for Partey, even I guess El Neny is that guy

I think second half far from consummate. I hate to nit pick but we actually had less possession than Bournemouth second half. Comfortable win with a lot of players not totally clicking is great but we were rattled a bit by more pressure on us by Bournemouth second half. Still gears to move up is positive but Saka and Partey well off best. Martinelli lost first 3 games sharpness and precision. This is in context of new expectations of course. Nketiah needs to score one of these chances soon to keep confidence up. We are "different gravy" now so new standards. Let's make sure we get 5 wins then go and beat Man U. Spurs were shit first half and toothless canine only reason they won ( plus another case of leaving Kane alone 3 yards out at corners). Spurs could easily be on 3 points. Need to keep our focus and push them to mistakes. 2 signings and bench can stay strong with few injuries. Onwards and upwards, but we're already top 🥳
