On this date in 1945, US Marines raised the flag on Mount Suribachi, Iwo Jima

Lest we forget the sacrifices the "Greatest Generation" made to ensure the safety and freedoms we enjoy today, this video is a salute to those men and women who gave so much on that historic day, in 1945.
