This song from The Weavers is very interesting, because it's based on a lazy, hazy peak that's located in the Appalachian Mountains which are normally located in North Carolina. I only knew the meatball version, until I came across the original words sung by - of all people - ABBA! Unfortunately they only do about 1½ verses, as it's the middle of a medley (starting with "Pick a bale of cotton"), as the B side to one of their singles (Summer Night City, I think).
