I also just wanna say that writer’s block IS REAL! No matter who you are, no matter how experienced you are, writer’s block will catch up eventually and completely throw you off. And no matter what form it is whether it’s fear of backlash or whatever else, you’re exhausted from writing, etc. it’s never bad to just take a step back and just either take a break entirely, or take a break to make some more plans and assess how the story is going because it could be that part of you isn’t satisfied with the art you have currently and wants things changed. As someone who wants to write, writer’s block is the main villain holding me back, and it’s rough! But if you’re facing writer’s block, just probably take a break, or listen to what your mind’s telling you because it could be a sign.

Another thing, if you’re looking for an idea to get you into the writing space, there’s nothing wrong with taking inspiration from writers of media you like. For me, that’d be Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball, Hirohiko Araki’s Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure (recommend it for those who are into whacky and goofy shows with an underlying coolness to it,) etc. Most, if not all, writers have taken examples of their peers and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it.
