You do have a point with the floating barracks, it's 150 minerals but has 1000 hitpoints. But...herp derp, interpret things the way they are plox. I explained that the PRODUCTION was efficient and I never said the units were ''great''. I didn't say that walking 10 hydras towards sieged tanks on the highground is going to win you goldmedals for efficiency. But if you drop IT eggs on the tanks and fungal a clump of marines, burrowed infestors can be one of the most efficient units in the game.

Infestors are always great, because IF/when the Terran spreads bio forces against fungal/banelings... the amount of focusfire for the marines becomes smaller and the surface area becomes greater for zerglings.

In a reply your reply it requires time away from focusing on your economy and army. Queens require energy to drop tumors and it takes a considerable amount of time just to get the creep to half map. And the tech switch takes one building. True, but what happens if a drop of 4 marines and a marauder kills your spire? No more units from those structures. I know Zerg seems powerful but as a Zerg player I feel like we have a few weaknesses that if exploited can crush a Zerg without even engaging.

I'm pretty sure that energy for scans is "free" if queen energy for injects is free..... and you don't need to tech switch, you only have 1 tech path barracks, factory then mech or starport.

Zerg is also very economically reliant. Well more so than the other races, the rule of thumb is one base ahead. Your macro has to be crazy to beat a terran/protoss with average macro. One skill Zerg has is to replace your army as soon as it dies and to do that it requires to stay on top of your injects and to be very knowledgable on how to counter a certain unit comp. Zerg is also very scouting reliant, if a Terran goes for mech play and only see rax, the wrong units will be made and we lose

True, except it takes queen energy to expand creep tumors. Orbital command energy to scan, Queen energy to creep. Terran has to sacrifice mules, Zerg has to sacrifice either minerals for more queens or fuck up their inject cycles. This is why many Zerg (I've watched, at least) especially in GSL use queens in early defense.

I play both zerg and terran.Nothing is op between them.You just need to know the correct counter.zerg units are realtively weaker than other race untis due to the ability for them to mass up in a short amount of time while terran units last longer due to the limtiations of production structures.I don't play toss so no comments there.

You obviously don't play zerg... Zerg units heal automatically if I'm not mistaken. So when it comes to healing, terrans have it the hardest because they have to spend on medivacs or scvs to heal their units. All races have their strengths. It all depends on that player's play-style. If the races were the same it would just be warcraft 2. Blizzard has done well balancing 3 completely different races. This is clear in 1v1s. If one race was better , they would win more, but no, it depends on skill

Queens cost money? They have to make creep and then it spreads. You can see you always have a queen but then it will cost you a larvae inject. You dont need scans to kill creep you can also just make one single raven,(which you also need in the current metagame of TvZ lategame)

If I interpreted something you said the wrong way it is because you could have explained it a bit better - no offense. Building hydras vs terran for -any- reason won't even win you a bronze medal for efficiency, by the way. You can't fungal while burrowed, but yes infestors are great units in the right situation. They may seem OP to terran because most of them don't know how to do anything other than mass marine. :-)

I'm not implying anything. I'm saying its IMPOSSIBLE to catch a zerg player off guard unless he never looks at his minimap. Creep lets them see anything that is coming. For zero cost. Terrans can build sensor towers or scan, but that all comes at a cost to them. Zerg are too quick to pick out Terrans "OP strengths" while ignoring their own. Such as tech switching by building ONE structure. No other race can do that.
