1. With the addition of Justus Terry, the 2025 Recruiting Class for Texas on the defensive side of the ball is the best in history for the Longhorns. 2. Texas has a 5 Star Safety in Jonah Williams, a 5 Star Corner in Kade Phillips, a 5 Star Strongside Defensive End in Lance Jackson, and a 5 Star Defensive Tackle in Justus Terry. I was still hoping somehow the Longhorns could have gotten Riley Pettijohn at Outside Linebacker and Javion Hilson at Weakside Defensive End. Those 2 additions would have made this defensive class absolutely perfect for the Longhorns. 3. With Riley Pettijohn being a strong commit to Ohio State, I think Kellen Wiley would have been a very good second option at Outside Linebacker to play next to Elijah Barnes at Middle Linebacker for Texas. I think Wiley would have been much better served playing Outside Linebacker under the tutelage of Coach Nansen and Coach Kwiatkowski. 4. The most important position for dominant teams in the SEC is Defensive Tackle and Nose Tackle. Justus Terry along with Josiah Sharma and Myron Charles could be the best Defensive Tackle trio in the nation. As a Longhorns fan, I'm really looking forward to seeing these players after an entire season at Texas. With the current True Freshman, Alex January, this group of Defensive Tackles for Texas could be truly great by 2026. "Hook Em"

The NIL and portal is evening the field in college football. Programs recruiting well and at the same time losing through the portal. It's bringing a lot more pariety to the game. Makes it more exciting and giving other programs improvement.
