The Spring Transfer Portal is still in full swing, as another Colorado player is entering the transfer portal. This time, it is RB Dylan Edwards, who broke out as a bit of a star in the early portion of the 2023 season. Where will Dylan Edwards go? All this talk about Dylan being too small last year is crazy. Dude was squatting damn near more than some of your starting offensive and defensive linemen! The o line was trash so of course it’s hard to run the ball but give Dylan a offensive I guarantee he will be unstoppable! Mark my words!! Go be great D3

I wouldn’t be too worried about Dylan Edwards leaving. I always thought he was too small, considering how much he struggled running the ball up the middle and with pass blocking.

He shouldn’t be playing at all at his size 😂 Alton should have started but hey it’s not about winning . It’s about the Docuseries stars and “his kids” getting game time for the story line

Scatbacks aren't meant to be used up the gut. If used correctly, such as outside runs or even lined up in the slot, he would be very dangerous. On top of that CU had major o-line issues, which didn't help. CU abandoned the run as the year went on. All top 4 RBs have now left the program. CU had less than 1000 yards rushing as a TEAM. That's horrible.

It’s funny the people saying his 321 yds rushing was nothing they must not realize he was the leading rusher and the entire offense combined barely rushed for over 800 yds

Dylan will not supplant DJ Giddens at RB1 and I'm sure the coaches told him as much. He will get plenty of time as a slot receiver and RB2 to take load off DJ. So much for him wanting to avoid competition. Will be a great addition.

An option offense with those two would be extremely dangerous. Considering Avery J showed he can throw that ball too. Play action would go crazy.

What great changes they lost their OC who was the best coach they had and you can’t say he wasn’t because he took a HC job at SDSU which is a lateral move from the job he had before CU at Kent State. So enlighten me on who they added? Pat Schurmer? The guy who failed as the Rams OC, failed as the Eagles OC, had one good year with the Vikings and magically got hired as the Giants HC where he failed miserably once again..lol who else Warren Sapp? Who has zero coaching experience and is a graduate assistant a title usually held by a 23 year old kid not a 51 year old man.

@@cjboyer4355 Robert Livingston is regarded as one of the best young coaches in the league. He learned under Lou Anarumo, Marvin Lewis and, Mike Zimmer. Two Shedeur fits a pro style offense way more than he fits Sean Lewis. Sean Lewis offense is predicated on RPO which is why they had no running game. Shedeur is mobile but not a running quarterback. Pat Shurmur is a better OC than he is given credit for. Pat Shurmur helped mold Donovan McNabb in his early years, then he went to the Rams and, helped them improve almost every statically category and, then he won NFL assistant coach of the year with Vikings. On defense yes the added Warren Sapp as a graduate assistant but, they also added Damione Lewis as a coach. Damione Lewis has been the defensive line coach with the Seahawks since 2020.

@@nicholasbraxton1342 Livingston has never even called plays for a defense before maybe he will be great and maybe he won’t didn’t mention him because he’s such a wildcard on what he will be as a DC. You’re trying to slap lipstick on a pig with Schurmer by saying he molded McNabb..yea I’m sure it had nothing to do with the guy who has elevated every single QB he’s ever had in Andy Reid 🙄 I agree a pro style will fit Shedur better but that doesn’t mean Pat is a good play caller.

If he goes to K-State they will make him a better running back for sure! Not to mention the track record with small running backs and he’s a local kid… seems like a no brainer but you never know who gonna throw a bag at him

When I look at the transfer portal, a lot of the players go home on their second year if possible! He was a player that they thought they were using, regardless of the fans opinions! I hope that some of the players go to the coaches schools that have left! Some players have been sitting in the portal since November 2023!

Led the team in rushing with those 321 yds as a true freshmen. It’s not his fault CU didn’t run the ball because he was getting 4.2 yds a carry with that garbage o line. Cope all you want this is a big loss.
