Again, JA threw for over 360 yards and 2 TD’s. On offense his int’s went right off the defender and went up into the air and was not JA’s fault. Everyone makes this game out like he struggled mightily and that’s just not the case. Yes he made some mistakes and he can’t have anymore games like that but Ewers had 3 legit TO’s against OSU the year before and he had much more experience as a starter at that point. Every QB has a game like that with int’s. What they don’t all have is over 360 yards passing. Can you imagine what his stats would have looked like against what you called a great Arizona defense, if he didn’t have those TO’s. He had just as good of a game as he had bad and people just totally ignore that fact.

That's the most interesting storyline in the SEC for me. Of course, after Michigan routs Texas in week 2, will Texas give the keys to the offense to Arch Manning? Another interesting SEC storyline to note early in the upcoming season.

OU has the potential to be a top 3 defense in the SEC this year. If they bust, it’s because JFA is turning the ball over. Seth Luttrell is a talented enough OC to not set him up for failure long enough for him to put it together and the game starts to slow down. Add to that that OU might have one of the deepest receiver and running back rooms in the country, and I have a hard time finding 4 losses. Don’t be surprised when OU comes out and mushroom stamps Tennessee, Mizzou, and Ole Miss. Texas is a toss up, but we have the golden hat, sooooooooo…

Nuss will throw for more yards than JD5 did last year and then LSU with its best OL in the country and its newly revamped running game will be able to run the ball on everyone. I mean, sure the offense lost three first rounders last year, but LSU is also adding three or more first rounders to the offense again this season. @@BigMonty686 You are obviously very severely mentally deficient or otherwise, you don't know shit about LSU football and the talent on the team. You're right, LSU didn't do anything to improve the running game because it didn't need to. As JD5 handled all the rushing. Meanwhile, for 2024 LSU revamped the running game because JD5 is in the NFL. Whi9ch means that with the newly revamped running game and the best OL in the country, LSU's will be able to run the football on everyone. Furthermore, Nuss was always been a better passer relative to JD5, so expect Nuss to pass for more yards than JD5 did last year. As the WR room and the TE room for LSU will be elite once again. In fact, depending on the play calling, LSU may even put up more offensive yards than it did last year. As those expecting LSU's offensive production to take a hit this season are morons. Sure, LSU loss three first rounders last season, but LSU is adding at least three more to the offense this season and Harold Perkins is a bonafide first rounder too.
