The greatest part about this is the deliberate choice of instrument for each song like electioneearring, of course that would be best suited with the drums and guitars from Majora's mask. It's decisions like that to change the sound font for every track that make it so much better of a listening experience than somebody that just slapped a sound set into the same notes that were played in the original song. I'm a weird Radiohead fan... I don't gobble up everything they do, but the songs I like, I hold in high regard. Karma Police and No Surprises being particular standouts for me. I went immediately to Karma Police, REALLY curious on how the ending of the song was handled. Was that distortion at the end going to be there? I am happy to report when the ending of Karma Police started, and that rapid, repeated noise began at 28:09, I was happy. This was _GOOD!_ at 28:29 I turned up the volume, at 28:41 when I realized it was *"DO A BARREL ROLL!"* I was 19 again (I am well past 19), watching the Karma Police video and seeing a car engulfed in flames from inside for the first time again. Thank you.

Karma Police by far my favorite with the sf pick and the faux Roland delay with Peppy's voice was sick

Thanks! Amazing... Got similar emotions as when listening to OK computer. Just the right balance of interpretation and truness to the original. Even got a chuckle from some of the effects.

So excited for the new drop. RIP to any other albums I was planning on listening to this week.

When the sample in Karma Police started to slow down and I could figure out what it was, it killed me. The little choices made here are fantastic
@klimmit Жыл бұрын
There is some real intention in the choices behind each of these songs. Great job on the composition.

Incredible Job. Always love seeing your work.

Exit music for a film is my favorite Radiohead song. You did it justice

I can’t pick a favorite, every track is just so good! Climbing up the walls might be my pick, but the other Rare tracks (No surprises and Exit music) are also great. Paranoid android and Subterranean homesick alien are so well done too oof

Phenomenal work. I absolutely adore this whole rendition of OKC. PLEASE, i, and many others would love to hear Kid A with the N64 Sound font.

This is incredible. I’m excited to see what you do with Kid A, especially since the artwork and promotional blips already look like they’re from the N64

bro this is LEGIT my favorite album of 2023 so far, im not even kidding, the soundfonts give the music such a deep extra layer of melancholy and bittersweet nostalgia i might cry with some of these, extremely good work

It’s weird, I listened to Ok Computer so many times that I kind of burned out on it, but hearing it this way is like rediscovering the album for the first time and it made me fall in love with it all over again.

WOW Lucky sounds incredible in the Yoshi's Story soundfont!! I thought it was silly at first but it really blew me away!

This is the best soundfont project I've heard yet, will be enjoying this for a long time to come. You're too generous offering this for free, enjoyed it too much to not purchase on bandcamp. Banjoe Kazooie organ hitting in Exit Music gave me goosebumps. One idea, if you're open to them - Where Is My Mind in the Metroid Prime soundfont. Metroid Prime in general has such a fantastic soundscape EDIT: No soundfonts involved apparently, seems I know less about videogame scoring than I thought!

MP doesn't use soundfonts. It's arranged on real instruments.

@@eclogues_ it does use specific synth patches though, which can be traced similarly to Soundfonts

@@blakecabral2661 sure but then you're just playing notes on a synthesizer like any other instrument

From now on, I will think The Tourist is a song from Kirby 64. And every time I think of Yorke singing "Hey man" I will think he is calling Kirby. Damn, that was good.

There're tons of midi soundfont swaps here on YT, but on4word's are unmatcheable. It's the selection of instruments, small voice inserts, probably also arrangement differences that I can't really tell because I'm not a musician. I'm not that prone to nostalgia but I grew up with N64 games and OK Computer is one of my all-time favorite records, so these two combined really strike a deeply melancholic note for me.

Including quotes from the Mario Kart characters during Paranoid Android was a masterstroke.

This is the best soundfont reimagining yet. The Mario Kart race countdown to start Paranoid Android was brilliant. Using the games sound effects to help fill in the unique parts of each song was a nice touch, too.
