Yeah, he made many mistakes and his performance is not the best, but some of these goals weren't his fault. For example, 1:45 is very misleading, the angle of the camera makes this look like an easy save to do, but the ball was going way faster than we thought and the deflection made it almost impossible to react in time

The things he lacks I do not think you can teach. His reflexes aren’t fast enough (many GK save that Rice goal). His shot stopping is suspicious too, doesn’t seem agile and rarely makes a game changing save. I always thought United should’ve gone for AC Milan’s GK instead.

Peter Schmeichel are the best goalkeeper United ever have had. It are sad he did not choose to go the trainer route. He would have been perfect for Man U today. Peter are analytical, can give good advice and still can scream, anyone not getting the message, soul´s out. Seeing and hearing Peter today, as a competent commentator, are a blessing, although I almost cringe on his behalf when having to comment on Onana. Peter had maybe 5% of his matches, where he were not living up to his own standards. Onana have around 5% of games, where he actually are up to the standard, needed for a Man U GK.
