Wow! That green screen tip with the iPad was incredible! I never thought of how beneficial and easy that could be! Really loving this series you’ve got going!

Ah nice, man. Very nice. I was always interested on how you managed to pull of some of of the clean chroma key shots, mainly the spaceship scenes in your Betrayal series. Well done and keep up the good work!

I have been using blender to do the cgi for a new animation I am working on and it is quite fun. Also I found a way to make renders faster in blender with cycles. You make the samples low e.g. (15) and then use the denoising node to get rid of the graininess. This changed my renders from 30 frames in 12 hours to 50 in 1hour.

Have you used the Bricker plugin for Blender?
@Onbeatman4 жыл бұрын
Ant Bandit I have not but I’ve been eyeing it up!! What do you think of it?
@AntBandit4 жыл бұрын
@@Onbeatman I haven't used it personally but I've commissioned work from the creator Christopher Gearhart (Bricks Brought to Life) for official LEGO work. Its honestly incredible and I cant imagine doing LEGO work in Blender without it. We did some huge landscape shots that look great. It also does water sims and alot more.
@Onbeatman4 жыл бұрын
Ant Bandit yeah I’ve only heard good things! I’m going to purchase it in the next couple of days and start playing around. I want to start into explosions first and foremost. Definitely keep me in mind for any future commissioned work! Trying to get out there more and I really enjoy working with other LEGO creators.

Hello Gus, when you create your digital Lego backgrounds in Blender, how do you match the perspective of the Blender virtual camera to the video you will be overlaying onto it?

Does anyone have any tips, say I wanted to do a plane flying over the ground and I wanted to mask out holding it with bricks or a hand, and then making it look realistic my changing the brightness or something, what program could I use?

I’m a bit late but for the masking how do you plop the pictures on top of each other

I have just found your video today. I have a KZbin channel, and have been doing only action figure reviews, but I add stop motion segments in the beginning and middle of my videos. My Goto program is Stop Motion Studio. I’m not going all out adding backgrounds or anything but Inwould like to at LEAST erase my figure rigs and add sound and visual effects. My only hardware is IPhone. Any recommendations for Apps?

Is there any free places where you can mask out a photo?
@radekrydzewski84744 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I’ve found a bunch of vfx websites, but they’re either paid subscriptions or the backgrounds are black. I don’t know why someone would make a vfx website and then make the backgrounds BLACK! JUST MAKE IT TRANSPARENT!!!

Is there any other app that is same with dragon frame? Cuz I'm actually want to use my phone as camera and my pc to shoot pictures.
@Onbeatman4 жыл бұрын
I'm actually not sure.. I only know of the phone app called "Stop Motion" which is pretty good. and you can transfer those animation files to your pc to work. That's how I would do it! In terms of computer apps, I only know Dragonframe and a limited mac software in the AppStore called something like "iStopMotion". Only accepts very specific cameras tho... so if you have a mac be surer to read all about it before you buy. I hope this helps!
