Great tutorial! Checkout 'selective color' too, you can adjust the green or blue properties of a shot individually. Also great for general color correction. Changed my life.

Do you remember bibby town? Ik it was 7 years ago, but did you ever think of making more videos on that?
@Onbeatman4 жыл бұрын
I have had many ideas and scripts for more episodes with Bibby for sure! It just doesn't make sense for me at this time to make a video about a character that isn't based in a recognizable world/brand like Star Wars. At this stage of my life when I have to worry about rent and those sorts of things, I need the projects I spend a lot of time on to at least have the potential to get a lot of views. My hope is that as I grow my Patreon and Channel I will be able to dedicate time to making more Bibby town and other lesser-known projects!

You can precompose 1 layer.
@Onbeatman4 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t work properly though - in some cases when you precompose a single layer, effects and other settings stay visible and manipulatable... which I don't want(as I've run into issues with that before). Doing this extra step with the solid essentially makes it work like an entirely new video file. So I got in this habit to correct any time it doesn't just work exactly as it should. that's just what I've experienced and this has made my life easier overall haha
@AKPstudios4 жыл бұрын
Onbeatman All you have to do while precomposing the layer is choose “move all attributes into the new composition” instead of “Leave all attributes in” 🙂
@Onbeatman4 жыл бұрын
Still doesn’t work in some cases for me lol - couldn’t tell ya why but relying on that became more of an inconvenience than it was worth... I just do this so it works 100% of the time 🤷🏻♂️

How do you make or Where do you get the background that you put in the croma? And if you build it, why to use croma? I don’t know if I said it well, I’m from Spain and I’m learning English Salutations.
@Onbeatman4 жыл бұрын
That's alright! I think I got it. The backgrounds you see in this and the previous video were CGI creations I made in Blender. The reason I created them in the computer rather than the real world was I didn't have the bricks I needed to make the large sets required for the scene. If I had the bricks needed I would for sure just build the sets from scratch but it all comes back to how expensive lego is and how much I can afford at a given time. I hope this helps - thanks for watching! :)

@Onbeatman3 жыл бұрын
Just a quick google search for green screen or blue screen. plenty of images there. you can also scale up an image that may not cover the whole screen, take a screenshot, then you have a full-screen green image.

I would suggest taking it slow - if you're working with hit film you may need to look up a specific tutorial on that program... like "How to chroma key in hitfilm" to get started. other than that I would follow what you can from this video and really take note of how each step changes your result. Keying is a rather fidgety process so the only way to figure it out is to just jump in and see what techniques give you what results.
@spindfilms74554 жыл бұрын
Ok but I don’t really work with green screen because I use a iPhone and the app I am using to animate is stop motion studio pro and in some of my little older video i tried using green screen but the results were interesting like 4/10 interesting so yeah I don’t have the best thoughts of using green screen
@openshutterfilms4 жыл бұрын
Spind Films Would you like a bit of help? 1. Film you Stopmotion with a green screen in the background 2. Download Imovie* for free on your computer 3. Find an image you want for your background 4. Export your Stopmotion on your laptop 5. Watch this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/faGym5yhqtqhgKs: it is slightly different but removing the green screen is the most important, just put the image on top 6. Good luck tell me if you please tell any more tips! Also I subbed to you amazing channel.
