Howdy Brother- Wow! Awesome video with lots of great information. I really like the jig for drilling the holes. Wish I could help you on a cabin sometime. Take care and God’s blessings to you

Clever design. The hole jig is a great addition. I assume you can run one length of rebar through there at the end to tie them all together? Beautiful mountain views again.

Rebar, all thread rod. You could add another for wiring.

I wish I grew up knowing how to build with my hands and repairing stuff. I’m 38 years old and want to build a log cabin or small cabin. Wish I could make it happen

Is it possible for a man to use your jigs with green oak trees also a 20x20 cabin should be bout 1600sf. Bout how many acres of trees you reckon?

You can build with green logs but you should plan for shrinkage. Best if you can season them for a year. Draw 4 elevation views (all 4 sides) and draw in each log. Label each log. Cut trees and buck them up into lengths according to your log list. (Make a detailed plan, determine quantity then cut the logs)

Have you ever climbed up that mountain behind you? Just wondering how cool it looked from the top.

Really enjoy your videos, I'm planning on building a log cabin, have already picked up a bandsaw mill. I'm going to be using 6 x10 milled logs. So I guess I'll be ordering a jig from you. Walter

Sounds good. 6x10 is a good size log.

@@OnBeaverCreek, hi there I was asking you a notching jig a couple of months ago. Just wondering if you take EMT for your notching plans.
