you are correct, they are not allowed to rev them up to the max now in order to insure minimum wear , those engines and their required parts are hard to come by now :D I read that on some article about the rotary cars they have in mazda north america

Go attend a nascar oval race or indy race, its about the spectacle of speed.From a spectators view of an oval , you get to see the whole race track, so you see everything that is going on. I attended my first race last year and was blown away, it is alot different than just watching on tv and assuming they "go in circles".

One of the most beautiful sounding engines, hopefully soon ill be joining the unique society of owning a rotary powered car. Planning on buying a rx-7 for my first car, wish me luck
@deedeemegadudu97738 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for the advice and concern, I don't plan on driving this car hard anytime soon (if I can land this RX-7 I've been looking at). I'm fortunate enough to know a rotary specialist and he would be my first stop after buying for a full tune-up. This particular RX-7 is a non-turbo fc, so not too much power. I would probably want to put some better tires on, some racing beat suspension stuff, better brakes and then I would start tinkering with the motor. I'm not into that "drift life" per say, I just admire the rotary engine and would like to get something fun to drive to work. Can't wait to be apart of the RX community.
@peterwyattmiddleton8 жыл бұрын
honestly you have to drive a rx7 kind of hard... if you dont redline it once everytime you drive it, they will build carbon on the rotors. Its really annoying having to redline it regularly ;P
@kamolia8 жыл бұрын
I have an RX-8 for my first car and still own it till now , rotary cars need TLC and they need that continuously !! apart from that , enjoy a well balanced car that will put a grin on your face every time you take it out for a ride, it's one of those cars that you'll develop a love/hate relationship with straight away but you'll always come back for more :D
@deedeemegadudu97738 жыл бұрын
Hey Mohamed, I just got my first car. Didn't go the rx7 route, but I just scored a rx8. It's an awesome car, but yeah needs a little more TLC than I was hoping, but that's fine. I'm gonna enjoy every minute of it.
@kamolia8 жыл бұрын
+wfalcon59 good choice mate , I wish you enjoy ever single mile in it try to stay n the oil changes and top it up and get an oil catch can to insure oil free intake as the rx8 spews a lot of oil in the intake and when u put in oil make sure never to exceed the top level mark

I will have an fc3s someday.. I have a miata right now but it has no power and there's so many problems in it :'[ no AC , clutch slave cylinder is going out, rear main seal is leaking, probably need a new water pump, needs a new transmission, and to make more power I would need to rebuild the engine and get a stronger differential. So instead I'll just keep my miata as a beater and get an FC shell and build it
