My car seat mUst be defective because the re clips that are supposed to click on the base do not stay put they move a bit up and down

Is Safety 1st going to address the fact that the back end of the car seat is incapable of being secured ? If we got into a collision and had to slam on the brakes he would just tip up like a flap. That doesn’t seem right..

All car seat bases are like that unless they are designed with a load leg or rebound bar. It is still safe so long as installed correctly. The car seat will do its job of keeping baby safe even if it tips up a bit.

I thought mine didn’t either. It’s mounted to the underside of the car seat itself. Haha.

The front end tips completely forward, it’s not secure at all. Help?

I have the same exact problem. Was told to take it to the fire department they said it's just a crappy car seat

Absolutely agreed, nothing here implies that you need to secure the back end at all.. maybe they want to he sued ?

Yeah the base is bigger than the seat.

Bottom buckle does not work for infants! My baby was smaller so the space between his legs wasn't very big an the buckle design is way to wide for the space there & doesn't have a way to adjust vertically. The carseat I had for my last two did but that was 8yrs ago so I don't remember which seat it was. It doesn't help that infants naturally bend their legs up together right where the blasted buckle is..

This carsit is not good for babies buckle and jones are coming broken ,my baby's leg scratched with sharp horns on the buckle.

What do i do so the bottom clips aren't so tight on my baby's thighs?? It feels like they're pressing right on them.

My car seat is getting stuck on the base. It’s not coming up once I press the handle.

Mine was doing that, I figured it was broken. The two gray parts that connect them one of them must be broken you can force it with your hand/finger

It’s where the baby head will be, you gotta hold it up and pull the top part out

I have the 35 FLX (very similar) and I absolutely do NOT recommend this carseat. Impossible to install to properly in any of the 4 cars we've tried and never feels secure.

even when its fully tight and may not move side to side- it just can move in an over-turn position (as that has nothing to do with the tightness of the belt- it just moves along the seat belt). poorly engineered.
