I really love the way the sleep alarm is triggered aft, above the bunk ... but the kill switch is forward, on the other side of the cockpit LOL so you have to actually be up and walking across the cabin to kill it

Fantastic Alex, so good for you to do this Q & A session. Can’t wait to see your first albatross, you know then you are truly in the Southern Ocean. I don’t think you are too distant from these fantastic birds, they sleep and fly at the same time too !!! All the best, fair winds, keep safe, push hard.

Love the Christmas cake treat .... haha I can imagine you lying on your bean bag stuffing Christmas cake into you between the shudders of the boat. I follow you every day morning and night. All of you sailors are the most incredible individuals. I'm just trying to imagine a sail boat travelling at 40 knots....it must hum....quite mad really. Good winds dude.

I agree entirely with what John Van Slyke below said. It is most unfortunate that HUGO BOSS has sustained some structural damage. Hopefully Alex will be able to REINFORCE the areas concerned to alow him to continue to the end of the race. He will have many miles to catch-up in the Southern Ocean which is going to be punishing on the boat and also on Alex. Continue Alex to do your best. We are all following your progress and willing you to win. Take care and STAY SAFE. - ALUN COOKE.

Hi, Alex! So nice to see these interactions. Makes the race a little bit more humane, kinda brings us inside the boat in some sense! My question is: is there any sort of psichological follow up support after the race finishes? It seems to me that there is a high chance of some disorders after 70+ days of sleep deprivation, social distancing, the need for constant awareness and others altogether Thank you for your videos! Keep on going with high spirits! Wish you all the luck from Brazil 💚💛💙
