Ride along with Gary Smith on his record setting 204.1 mph run from yesterday’s Lake Havasu Shootout at Desert Storm LHC 2023 in this Circus Media House - EXCLUSIVE + Post-race Interview!
Gary’s Skater 388 “Predator III” set the new men’s and woman’s records (respectively) for the #DesertStorm2023 Shootout yesterday with Gary’s 204.1 and Patty Rich’s 194.1 top speed in the women’s division. Predator III is equipped with 2 x 2000hp Carson Brummett Motors’ and was cared for by Vern at West Coast Drives in Lake Havasu over the course of the event.
Circus Media House was blessed to be able to get this exclusive 360 cam footage from inside Predator III as well as an exclusive post-race interview with the “King & Queen of the Desert” themselves 👑
Thanks to everyone involved for a great event!

You can tell where he hits the wind at the end of the course. The whole boat came out of the water after he let off. You can see the split second where the rooster tail has a gap in it when the boat is in the air and touched back down. You can hear the boat touch come out of the water and come back down too. Badass run.

Right before he turned around it looked like he passed really close to another boat or buoy. It may have been the windshield angle making it look closer than it actually was but it made my corn hole pucker!

I'd recommend that he fasten the chin strap on his helmet. Just so it doesn't suck up on his head and cover his vision. As far as safety at that speed, it probably would not matter if he did or did not have it strapped if there was a crash...... Congratulations, that is hauling the mail right there! Paul

Gary, Wow! But honestly, the helmet not being strapped on, won't help much, might not even being strapped on and secured properly. The life jacket at 204 is merely to help find the body, if something went wrong. But, WOW!! 204 in an open cockpit Skater is fantastic!
