Don't let anyone shame you about what you purchase for your family. Every family is different. For example, the only way my daughter will eat ground beef is as a hamburger. No meatloaf, no meatballs, just hamburgers. Is that weird? In my opinion, yes, but I'm not going to force her to eat things she doesn't like. She will occasionally have some meatballs if I make them but it's a textural issue for her. Just like I won't eat mushrooms. I'm not allergic, they're just slimy and taste like dirt to me. We're all different and that makes life interesting

My nephew was very picky as a kid. Didn’t like foods to touch. I agree that forcing a kid to eat things they don’t like is a bad thing. Why adults think kids can’t have the right to not eat something baffles me.

@@nancyfarkas3592 I think it's because food hasn't always been plentiful and you had to eat what was available. My mother would cook to please my father. That was just how it was. There were many nights I didn't eat but overall, that was my choice. My daughter will "try" things I make but I don't force her to eat it if she can't. I just enjoy more leftovers.
