I am a new subscriber. I really like this channel and would love to see more on once a month shopping. I think you have fresh ideas on how to simplify life. I also like the idea of prepping ahead in order to take the weekend off from cooking.

Thanks for sharing all your tips and experiences! I'm super interested in how you freeze in glass - I've tried a few times and the jars/bottles shattered both times :(

Hi Jess! That has happened to me before too- you're not alone! What you need to do is leave enough room in the jar for the contents to expand when frozen. I usually leave 2 inches or so! And that tends to be plenty. :)

I was curious what you used in the soup that was orange that you pulled out of a jar. Was it peppers? Looked like a good thing to keep on hand!

Yes it was my oil packed tomatoes! I got the recipe from the Elliot homestead. :)
