Thank you Graham for including my GT in your channel, it was destiny indeed to have her back. I still cannot believe it. Whilst I've aged the MG has remained pretty much as is due to a big thanks to the subsequent four owners.

I think a lot of us would love the opportunity to buy back a previous car. Great news for Mark, though, to be reunited with his wonderful GT.

Thanks for your comment - we get a lot of feedback about regret in selling MGBs - Luckily, there's still plenty around to rekindle the love affair!

Great story. I see so many people on Facebook trying to locate their original MG. Seems a bit more difficult here in the States since license plates change based on the state they are in.

Thanks for your comment - yes fair point... I guess a nationwide numberplate system would be difficult to implement in the US?

MGBs can be an addiction, modified MGBs are a sickness, I don't think mine will ever be done (custom chassis/suspension, 400+hp SBC, etc.), in my case apparently a $5K a year habit

Thanks for your comment - keep at it - it will be worth it in the end!!! :-)

I love your channel. If you are ever in California, I would love to meet you and you are welcome to come see all the MG projects we are trying to restore. I wish you the best with the channel and look forward to more content! Great job!

Thanks you so much for your kind words - much appreciated. I've been to California a few times on work film shoots - we actually were the first journalists to drive the Pacific Coast Highway in a hydrogen powered car (but that's another story!) - lovely place, and if I even go back, I'd love to meet up!

I bought my pale primrose US Export model 69GT in January of 69 from the factory ($2405) - the summer of 69 I sold it. In the spring of 22, I found it again. It's now in my garage after a thorough going thru - it had been in a storage since 1993.

MGBs are truly truly addictive they have mysteque about them unmatched by any other vehicle on the highway and I mean any other vehicle …. Pass a Ferrari , Lamborghini , Maserati , Porsche , Bugatti , Aston , McLaren or any other exotic car on the highway and the driver of that vehicle will look at your gorgeous MGB enviously the MGB is the only car on gods earth that make you feel like your driving a million dollar car for 5k+ …. It’s not about the speed it’s the driving experiance MGBs are like rats …. There could be a nuclear explosion and you’re still going to find MGBs surviving and tootling around with that bullet proof beautiful gutsy torquey B series engine burbling away … just add coolent and oil in the right places and she runs for ever ……❤MGB ❤️

Thanks for your excellent comments - the thing I like is that when someone speaks to me about the car, its always friendly without a hint of jealousy - unlike the public reaction to more ostentatious cars like Ferraris and Lamboghinis!
