love seeing trees of that size laid down. Out here on the high plains of Kansas we dont get enough rain to grow a tree that tall in a lifetime or two. Unless they are piss elm or cottonwood both of which are useless for firewood which is the only reason we cut down trees unless they are endangering a house. Yes some of us out here do some heating with wood, we just have to learn as we go how to handle widow makers and that kind of stuff.

I am a small tree company 2 man crew chipper and a dump trailer on a budget and can buy a 460 with 25inch light bar full wrap handel and big dogs for 600 or get a new 462. That being said I am on a budget

Question about how often to sharpen the chain. I just sharpened my first chain, Fell my second tree ever It took two full tanks of fuel to drop the tree (45 minutes each full tank), but it feels like the chain needs to be sharpened again. Is 1.5 Hours or two full tanks normal before having to sharpen the chain again?
