this was so much fun. i haven't gotten rid of any decks i've purchased so far, since my practice is still growing and changing. one deck i would looove to bring in is the mysteries of the black madonna. i love the mysteries of mary, but the black madonna is a dream.

I was second guessing selling my green witch tarot. 🤔 I did a comparison with my druid craft. I just ordered the everyday witch tarot and wonder if I combined them how it would work. I enjoyed your thoughts on how you process through your decks & why you re-purchased some. I love this community its really helped me to not buy decks I would have rehomed. I've been pretty good and only rehomed a handful of decks.

I could never connect with Linestrider but was craving that open white space feel and was so delighted when I discovered The Vindur tarot which I connected with, it contains that spaciousness that I think Linestrider offers but with a voice that lands for me. Always enjoy hearing your reflections and process, thanks for all you create. Also recommend checking out the pocket edition of Dreams of Gaia.

I was so excited about this video and it did not disappoint LOL. I'm glad you saved Pagan Otherworlds - for some reason I have a hard time seeing you without it - I do hope you go ahead with the mod (and show us ho wit turns out)! It's lovely. Textured Tarot is incredible. I keep telling myself I'd want it in a different cardstock but I'm rather attached to it as it is now ;) Fifth is really intriguing to me. SO FUN to see what came back or got saved!! :D

Good on you for rescuing Pagan Otherworlds! I have the gray bordered Margarete Peterson and am stunned by the difference with the purple. I must have it. I have had Textured Tarot on my wishlist for so long now. It's so cool, but I still don't know.

So good to see that you are still loving the Pagan Otherworld. I think it will be my christmas present to myself this year. Why don't you copy a few cards on paper and than trim the borders off the copies so you can have an idea how it looks that way. Saves you perhaps a lot of money.

Like several others, I'd love to see a Pagan Otherworlds trimming! I've gone back and forth with Textured Tarot for a while now and I think if/when the creator makes another edition with different cardstock I'll grab one for myself.

I agree about the card stock of textured tarot. I would so love for it to be on linen card stock. When I got it and saw the box I thought it would be and got a bit excited. Oh well…. I waited a year to purchase this deck and did so as a birthday gift for myself. Sadly it’s just sitting….🥺🥴

If you got rid of Pagan Otherworlds there would have been WAR!!!!!!!! I have a friend who trimmed their Pagan Otherworlds and its lovely but the borders on that deck are such a part of the art for me. It's so delish. One of my ride or dies for sure.

I have been considering the john bauer tarot for so long since I grew up reading books illustrated by him and the artwork just has a very special meaning to me. Love your clips. You address some good issues. Regarding the Textured Tarot and its card stock. Are decks that you back still difficult to shuffle?

Provided the deck wasn't too thick when I reback it, they actually shuffle really well most of the time. I think the contact paper gives it some elasticity with helps with the flexibility of the cards. :)

Funny you find the Pagan Other worlds cards too large to shuffle. I think it’s a Perfect combination of linen card stock, card size and a classic design too awesome to put in a declutter pile! Lol

Glad you saved some of these decks. (See me being all concerned about your deck collection, lol) I have average size hands and I can't keep Pegan Otherworlds in my hands either but it will remain in my Collection/Library (haha) because it's gorgeous. At one time, I saw a posting on IG from the creator of the Textured Tarot saying that she was going to reprint it with a different card stock. The Mysteries of Mary is such a comtemplative deck - good to see you saved her.

The PO is stunning, I think it just needs a little trim... just a little off the top and sides maybe. :) I would seriously repurchase the Texture Tarot in a different cardstock (fingers crossed for linen!) I love that deck but I'm legit scared to use it lol. :)

The Moonchild was one that kept ending up in purgatory (I know, I know). I even gave it away at some point and ended up buying it again. It’s the card stock. I just can’t. But I absolutely LOVE Danielle Noelle’s art work so I decided to just keep it and pop it out every now and then. Maybe to draw one or two cards for new or full Moons.

If you get the grey Margarete Petersen and dont like it still, try a trimming on the sides and the top - the bottom only as far as to take the white on the backs off - its beautiful that way ☺
