In a genre where minority actors are underrepresented, directing a show where students feel empowered and represented is invaluable! I love this cast! Not only did I see the original cast (1991) and the revival (2019), I also had the privilege of playing TonTon Julian in a 2010 production in York, PA. This is truly one of the most beautiful and moving musicals ever😍🏝
