On May 24, an unprecedented landslide destroyed the village of Yambali in Enga Province, Papua New Guinea. 28-year-old Edlyn Yaki lost her father, husband and three children in the tragedy. She is one of the almost 8,000 people whose lives were permanently changed by the disaster. UNDP remains committed to supporting the early recovery and reconstruction of the impacted communities.
