I agree entirely. 1 Timothy 4:1 says many shall turn away from their faith. Clearly, you can only turn away from what you were following before. Jesus also said many shall walk a way from the faith. Salvation is not a trap. It is a love relationship and in love, there is choice. Just like in marriage

Saved “eternally” John 3:16, John 6;47. Jesus Christ’s point was very simple, and in present tense.

Using the analogy of water from one cup and mixing it with water from the other cup and therefore becoming one with the Lord, how then can you be separated again after becoming one? Can water from two cups that became one be separated again and put back into two different cups?

Living in sin, that is against the new nature you received when you got born again has a possibility of separating you from God. No person can do it but you can do that by refusing to listen to His word. So the key is not to ignore Gof but following Him and mortifying the deeds of the flesh as Romans 8:12-13 tells us. That if you live for the flesh you shall die, it says that to believers

There is a difference between being saved and being one with him. Being saved means that one is excused from the penalty of sin. One can get saved one minute before death and enter heaven but that doesn't mean that he was one with the Lord. When one is united with the Lord then one becomes one spirit with him. That takes work, perseverance, fellowship and intimacy. That is what I gathered from the message.

So true.. imagine one who gets saved then starts committing murders then say I am still saved. How ? If you are then shouldn't the that same spirit have convinced and convicted you not to do it

It sure is Biblical.. Only one Problem! We for some reason don't understand what that means to be saved.. We are saved from 2nd death. We are saved from Hell and enter the kingdom.. This is a gift given AFTER we Die and come to the throne to be judged according to our heart. Its a Gift of God given by His Grace (something we as sinner do not deserve) and its because of our faith to Him, we have Christ in Us. Its Christ in us the father excepts. We are Nothing and Receive Nothing without Christ. We are saved and enter the kingdom. Its here we can Never be taken from Our God. its here we cannot sin or fall from grace. its here we are secure "IN OUR SALVATION".. While we are here on earth, we are to keep in the faith until the end. Salvation is not a work of us in this way, because its not OUR faith that saves us, but Christ is us. His Perfect Work in us, His Faith in the father that's worthy of resurrection from death. We Enter HIS Resurrection.. We have this Whole "Kingdom NOW" mentality, and think ourselves something special or something. We are to follow in the law because the Law represents Christ, the ONLY one capable of Perfectly fulfilling it. WE SIN, WE are SINNERS and will fail in the law. God knows this, we only do our best as we walk in the image of the one who is perfect in it. In faith God sends His Spirit to us to conform us from a carnal minded sinner, into a spiritually minded image of his son.. turning the heart of stone into a heart of flesh as His Love/Son is Perfected in us. In truth we Live our lives (Spiritual truth of WHO Jesus Is). We will sin until the day we die, and this flesh is taken away from us and we are given a new name, one worthy of His Son Jesus Christ, as we serve Him in Love and in Truth of Who He Is. Salvation is Gods to Give, not religions, not our knowledge, not our understanding. Its not some card we carry around here on earth as though we are in the kingdom now and God serves us as we go through life. Its a gift from God given by faith of His son in us, to then enter into His Kingdom forever More.. Never to be taken or persuaded, or fallen away. In this we can be secure in knowing once there its eternal.. But getting there is by faith "race of faith".. This Faith is Spiritual and God Given, as He Sends His Son in spirit into our lives to conform us into a Spiritual creature, to the image of His Love. Our works on earth are counted as blessing in heaven, not means of our salvation. Neither can our works be judged as rather or not we are in Christ.. Think about that for one min.. Who has More to gain by pretending to be someone they are not? Does Not a sinner or unbeliever, Satan worshiper, or killer, or someone who wishes to do harm. Benefit greater following the law than those who know Christ? Of course they do, How else will they deceive you? So How on earth, can we say we are known by our Physical Works? We cant.. Its Spiritual, its the change within that turns that heart of stone, into a heart of flesh. Its a Work of God in You.. In this NO MAN can judge. We only know by the gospel in which we follow. In this there is Only One, and its given in Spirit and in truth by GOD for us to know and see within the word.. We can be secure in that TRUTH. the truth given by God and seen in scripture as the Word bears witness to this truth.. We Hope in faith for the renewing of our mind and promise of the Word of God. Then Once saved secured, forever more. So yes, we can be secure in our salvation... ONCE WE Receive it.. Believing in the Spiritual Truth is Completely different in Believing in carnal understanding of Truth.. One Is the Truth and can only be given by God. The other is given by men and the imaginations of a carnal mind.. One comes with it Spiritual Faith the other, faith remains in ourselves. Seeing is believing, and we can't see, lest GOD open our eyes to Who Jesus Truly is.. The Image of God. Its then His Faith is in Us and we are Given life in Christ Jesus upon our death. This is the belief John talks about, its not carnal knowledge, its believing in the truth God Gives us to See within His Word.. Its ALL Spiritual and ALL a Work of God in Us. In Our belief we ger the Spirit of truth sent. In Listening to the Spirit (Not Man, or religion) gets us to see Christ's Image and He lives in us as we conform to that image, and 2 become 1 and when we die its His Faith in the Father that we in Him Have also and granted His Life (Salvation from Death and Hell)... Think about that next time you judge another sinner like yourself.. Because YOU never knew truth until GOD showed you, so what makes you think Your words bring people around to the truth.. Did not the WORD Himself walk and talk and still we knew Him not? What better can you do in explaining the truth.. All We can do is give the gospel, it then becomes a Work of God In them, Just like it was you..
