Lawrence rode outside the safe margin. Nothing to do with the bike. The tyres brakes suspension of the time meant straight lines as far as possible. Much else was going to end in tragedy. He knew the limits and exceeded them. An airfield says it all.

Stimmt alles was älter als 10 Jahre ist interessiert die nicht, egal ob Auto, Motorrad oder andere Dinge. Mit 18 muß es gleich ein Coupe mit Stern auf der Haube sein, Motorräder wofür, die sind nicht cool genauso wie handwerkliche Arbeit.

@@redtobertshateshandles Actually he killed himself by riding like a maniac. Wonder why he never took up flying? He was surrounded by airplanes at the time, all he had to do was express an interest in doing so, and I can't imagine that he wouldn't have enjoyed it immensely. Very strange.....

@@redtobertshateshandles Lawrence failed to see the two boys in time to safely avoid them because they were in a dip in the road, ie, he was riding too fast for conditions. He wasn't wearing a helmet, which wasn't unusual in 1935, and died from head injuries. You can't blame the boys, or the bike.
