Once Upon a December | OC Animatic

A bit of background to the character's story: Skana grows up in her tribe with her parents, where each of the few children that live there gets a tokota (beardog) companion. Skana's pick is a white albino pup, Beluga. The falcon, Tharlen, too is her companion and is believed to be the rebirth of an honorable tribe member who's name was also Tharlen when he was alive. As a youth, Skana was very stubborn and unreasonable. She got involved with a gang of thugs who made her belief they were saving animals in need, when in reality they were blackmarket animal traders. This brings us here. This part read only when you've watched it: Skana's mother warns her about the gang but Skana argues and choses the gang. When it becomes apparent that the gang only approached her to steal Beluga, they get caught and her mother comes to her rescue. She's shot in the spine with an arrow and they escape death only because the mother had losened Skana's ropes before the gang members returned so Skana could set Beluga free. She carries her mother back home but the mother is paralyzed waist down (not dead!! :D). Skana is determined to find a spiritual healer up north to heal her mother but must travel far and into dangerous lands. She will eventually find the valley and encounter someone special, but that's a story for another time :D Thanks so much for watching! Hope you guys enjoy this! :D

tHAT TRANSITION IN THE END.... Sing.... wow.............. the entire time i was at the edge of my seat, this is so so so SO BEAUTIFUL??????
