Both lana and robert change their voice for their character, Regina's voice is higher pitched very slightly and Lana's real voice is more alto and deeper. Robert changes his voice to sound more American and for rumplestiltskin he was inspired by his young son who used to make high pitched noises and that's how he came up with the rumplestiltskin high pitch squeals he does as that character.
