I just watched this vlog about 4 years after it was made, but, man that was a good movie. So glad I saw it in the theatre. I remember when the sun is setting on that fateful night in the movie and I was thinking "is Tarantino really going to show this awful murder?" I knew he wasn't the type to pussyfoot around it, though. When the killers car drove up and Rick Dalton confronted them I even thought it was a little disrespectful to play around with what really happened ... and then the surprise twist ... and I was "Oh, hell yeah!" Brilliant film making. Even the music at the end perfectly fit the happy fairytale ending. The "Once Upon A Time" in the title was brilliant in hindsight, also. Time to go watch this movie again. Thanks, Jordan.

But even most smaller cities have an online library where you just log in with your library card number and a password, and can search their vast catalog for books, CDs, and movies. Then you place your request online and voila, you are in line for the next available copy of whatever you requested. Pretty slick. @@scottieburnett5606 It's an interesting thing about seeing it more than , ummm , twice . I doubt that other directors are as obsessive about details as is Tarantino, but you 'see' many more things on subsequent viewings. I saw on later viewings, the flamethrower in Rick's tool shed that I had totally just not seen the first time through, and I saw Pitt's character signal to Brandy in the ending scenes. I hadn't seen that before but everything made even more sense once I saw the cue, that is just there for a split second. But once you know it's there, you can't not see it. Brilliant movie. My new favourite. And not just for 2019. I think it a classic Hollywood film. Something that when the latest Marvel candy is long forgotten, will still be remembered.

Hello with love from London ❤… The noise and hype over this movie went right over my head when it first came out - I saw the adverts but didn’t pay attentions to it at all because I’ve been fascinated and horrified about the murders ever since my parents told me “she was horrifically murdered in real life” whilst watching Sharon in the vampire movie - I felt like id been physically punched and so when I heard that the blood and gore loving QT had made a movie about the last days of her life I rolled my eyes in disgust and said to myself “of COURSE he did (!)” Fast forward a few years and after watching EVERYTHING during the pandemic I then happened to catch the movie when it was first shown on British mainstream tv - I LOVE the 1960s so that’s how it caught me and I kept saying to myself “I’ll watch it until they get to the house and then I’ll switch off” And of course I never switched off because I never needed to, spent an hour completely overcome in nostalgia and what ifs - sobbed for almost an hour before realising - every normal boring day of our lives is the same as this happy ending - we just need to realise that and be grateful for it. Best QT movie of the lot and I doubt he’ll top that.
