When you said in the last episode that it kind of throws you off that there isn't a chronological order to the flashbacks,this is exactly why I like it being that way. Rumpled says here, he will love nothing and Noone else until he finds his son. When Belle kisses him in a previous episode and he turns away and reacts so extremely, now knowing what we do makes that so much more impactful and sad.

Such a great episode for Rumple, because it reveals how despite his calculating genius, he is quite irrational when it comes to his son. "Do I even look like him?"

In retrospect, the dialogue between Rumple and August had all the gems. "Do I even look like him?" definitely meant he met Baelfire. But it flew over Rumple's head and ours as the audience. Genius 🔥

Okay, this is hand's down one of the most entertaining OUAT reactions to date. You were basically arguing both with the show and yourself, which was very amusing to me. I also like how Regina's backstory episode basically got its own entire week. I don't know if that was planned or coincidence, but it works well.

Your reaction to this episode trying to convince you August is Baelfire is GOLDEN!! SO fun to see, since at this point when I first watched the show I didn't have any theories for who August was, so I just took it at face value lol.... very cool seeing how someone reacts to those scenes when they already have their own theories lol

I think that they wanted us to believe that the scar that bae got on his leg by the man that got turned to a slug is why August is feeling pain on his leg..

I didn't get it at all, because Pinocchio was not a popular or well-known story in my country. We had another one about a wooden boy, and there were no lies or growing noses 😅
