I think the main reason why the producer rarely give Jihyo or Jeongyeon to sing first because both their voice are too strong to start the song.Their voice won't suit most of their intro so the producer made an alternative path by choosing Nayeon to sing first and also the fact that she is the center also one of the reason she got to sing the intro

@@thomasmarsh2576 💯 agree. Yoo Beep Beep's voice is too powerful to lead songs as they would seem to diminish as they flowed rather than build. Jeongyeoni's epic line in 'One in a Million' might seem out if place if it was a lead in or even an earlier chorus in OUR anthem. Jeongyeon's powerful high notes are used to drive a chorus home and no other member does it quite like JY. God Jihyo is right there too as far as power, but it's that higher octive that gives us all goosebumps. 🤗🎤🎶🎵🍭💖💞

@@twiceisneverenough honestly! Jeongyeon drives the song home and I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing her parts. I love how her bold voice gives me goosebumps and it makes any song ending iconic. For instance in her part in Like Ooh Aah, i got so many chills during her part even though she only sang for about 10 seconds(a downside because she tends to get less lines compared to the other vocalist). She’s a keeper and I wish more people knew that

I've actually seen some people complain about how Nayeon always starts songs but I personally disagree. She's the center of the group, the face of the group, has a beautiful voice, and fits the whole Twice concept really well. All the members are great but it makes sense to have Nayeon lead.

And one of the three 'originals' with Jeongyeoni and leader Jihyo. So in a way, TWICE's magical formula was already beginning to take shape as those three trained. The additional 6 sisters all selected for their special combination talents; visual, vocals and dance. When watching early vids during these formative years you can see Nayeon gaining confidence as TWICE's front girl and increasing her input with the JYPE development staff. I think because of this and her versatile range, ability to learn/remember choreo, and cute girl next door look, JYP decided to use Nayeon as the intro member where appropriate. Right I’m really not sure why this KZbinr considered adlibs/sound effects as starting a song lmfao, when they perform adlibs are not always sung or even lip synced. So I’m not really understanding the logic behind considering adlibs starting the song. Nayeon rightfully started literally majority of all these songs, and honestly it shouldn’t be a coincidence all the songs she leads vocals in does well, her voice is just so unique and and amazing for the Twice concept, also Nayeons voice is actually hidden in almost all of the girls adlibs. She harmonizes with them and sings at a much softer tone to where it’s not noticeable to regular fans or really anyone with an extremely good set of head phones and knowledge of vocals, that and I remember seeing a video running around on Korean apps of the girls vocal splitting for Fancy and you really wouldn’t believe how much nayeon actually sung in that song, it looked as if she hadn’t stoped singing at all and that they simply made her voice blend with the rest of girls. She is truly the backbone of twices songs. And I feel so bad that she has so much pressure put on her, I think they should have just made her a solo act instead of basically making the group “Nayeon and Friends”
