Great movie. Another Parody is Top Secret with Val Kilmer who is also in Top Gun . Also a great 80's spy romantic comedy with the guy who plays Goose who is almost unknown today is Gotcha! which I highly recommend . This movie parody allot of movies not just Top Gun. It parody dances with wolfs for example and the scene with the piano is a parody on a movie Baker Boys (Shrek also parody it). The dentest scene is a a parody on a great thriller movie called Marathon Man with Dustin Hopman. Another great parody you should see with Emilio Estvaz (Chrilie Sheen brother) is Loaded Weapon.

Nice reactions to this wacky comedy, Vanessa!!!🎬👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽I know this is not your favorite type of comedy, as you had similar feelings for "The Naked Gun: from the Files of Police Squad!" about a year ago. I suggest one of my favotite comedies for your polls in the future: "Office Space" (1999). It has become a cult classic. A more recent comedy-dara that is excellent is "Jojo Rabbit" (2019). I still love you but now I question your sanity. Police Academy was funnier than Hot Shots? Were you in a bad mood before you watched this? Perhaps you sat on a chihuahua when you were a child and this movie brought back that trauma? I recommend 'Hot Shots! Part Deux' (1993) for therapy.
