Hi dede... do you get mold in your room due to humidity?? If so what do you do about it?

Hi-I don’t get mold. I have 2 oscillating fans going all the time in my grow room. I also have mini computer fans hanging from most of the shelves. The highest I’ve seen the humidity was 63%, but for a short time frame of a few days. I struggle more with lower humidity during the winter and during the heat in summer. When the humidity drops into the teens I run the a humidifier in the room. I’m in Southern California so the environment tends to be drier overall. I tried a a terrarium and I got mold really bad in the terrarium in that room. Killed a lot of the baby jewel orchids and Lepanthes I had back then. I tried a second time with the lid being more open and the mold started up again. Needless to say I dismantled that setup and put the tank outside in the sun for the mold to be killed. The seams of the tank were ruined though so I recycled the glass tank. I have smaller insect terrariums now that have better airflow or open air terrariums. If you are possibly getting mold in a room such as on the walls, I would suggest a dehumidifier and a remediation specialist to come take a look. Mold can be very dangerous.
