I recently picked up Amouage Boundless(my first Amouage), and I’m surprised at how versatile the fragrance is! I’ve been wearing it in the high heat and it doesn’t come across as cloying or too heavy. I think it would make a pretty good Signature Scent.

MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver is my pick. It's VERY versatile, despite being billed as a "spring / summer" type fragrance. It works well in the daytime, nighttime, any occasion. Hard to pin down, but somehow appropriate in almost any situation. Projects all day long, 10+ hrs.

For a cheap one, don't overlook Thallium - Yves de Sistelle All year fragrance and compliment magnet. Yes, for collectors it is on the synthetic side, but for normies it pulls the love hard!

You're right, Ambre des Abysses by Houbigant is a great release. I also have 4 others by the house. If you like Rose, try Tabac Nomade - I’ve gotten my most compliments off that fragrance, more than any other. You know what else is awesome, proper spelling and punctuation marks. Those run-on sentences written in your ebonics were hell trying to decipher what you were trying to say.

@@100piyum Beach Hut Man is a strong fragrance, and while I’m a pretty pretty heavy sprayer, but at the office you really have to consider others first. So I’d say around 3-4 sprays to start off with if you're in the air conditioning, and you have your own personal space (like a cubicle). I wouldn’t go any more than that. You don’t want to be labelled “Mr. Cologne" because everyone can smell you 25 feet before you enter a room. Also, some workplaces are more sensitive to fragrances than others. Some workplaces have a no-fragrance policy. Some offices may have a fragrance “Karen” that will claim she can smell a fragrance from 100 yards across the entire office from where you sit and will make a big deal that a fragrance is “too strong” and can even fake a asthma attack or some nonsense. From my experience, it seems like women have more sensitive noses than guys (they’re able to more quickly detect a fragrance). After you’ve successfully worn a scent to work a few times, and you’re thinking that you’d like to increase the number of sprays that you'd wear, first always ask a friend if they can currently smell your fragrance. If they can’t detect your scent, then you can always bump up the number of sprays - slowly. Just be aware that you’ll probably be the last person to know if your fragrance is detectable or not because you can easily go nose-blind (anosmia) to it. I know you didn’t ask- but just for reference, if you're outdoors, then a good rule of thumb is to double the number of sprays that you would normally wear if you’d be inside. I got this rule from a great podcast that I listen to, Equality Fragrance (EQ). Also, I’m not saying that you should use 4 sprays for every scent. Some fragrances may only require 2 sprays and some you can spray 8 times without issue. But the rule of thumb is “When in doubt, always use the lesser number of sprays that you're thinking of using”.
