I had to release my anger because it was infecting me being the good Mom to my Kid's, being a Sister, Girlfriend and friend. I loss my boyfriend 28yrs ago I know that was very hard on me. Since then My Mom passed away suddenly then 3yrs later my Dad he had Alzheimers and other painful things. It's so very difficult to watch him suffer for 6yrs. I would have done anything for my Dad not to suffer so much. Then 2yrs after Dad my oldest sister Theresa passed she had brain tumors,strokes,and other health problems for 39yrs. You never see her down about her life she was so supportive to me and everyone around her. She gave us all her most Beautiful smile and laugh right before she passed. I truly miss each one of my Love ones. I know they are mine and my family Angel's watching over us. When I became disabled I kept telling myself to live my life like my big Sissy and it's has helped me through all the surgeries and other major health problems. I would do anything to have them back with us. Then I say to myself that I wouldn't want all their suffering all over again. Someday You & I will see Our love ones one day.

I left my job as an ICU nurse and became a hospice nurse. Precious time was their last days. Just to know Jesus Christ our lord and savior will be waiting.

Mr. Feek, I just buried my mom. She had lung cancer and ended up passing after a very short battle. Jesus was her Lord and Saviour but this shook her. Dear Rory, I can’t imagine what you’re feeling. Every loss is different. I lost 2 of 3 children, but my heart is broken for your pain. When you are singing, I see her there with you, a gentle smile on her face and love in her eyes. Joey had such a strength of heart. I’m getting older, most of my loved ones are gone. I won’t try to bring you to Jesus. I don’t believe in religion. I do know for fact that our spirits live on after this. It’s not fair or right to be left behind, but I do know that we meet again. The world will keep turning and we will be the keeper of their memory until that time. Tears may fall like rivers, hearts will ache and strain under the weight of our grief. Deep love is worth the pain and tears. Deep love is the best gift God can give, even if it only means a short time together. I figure you have more than just one angel that knows your name. Love like that doesn’t die, not ever. Take care Rory, you are carrying around so much love and eventually you’ll have peace and joy in life again. ❤❤❤

Joey loved Jesus and would want her loved ones loving Him also. That "unbeliever" part of this song is cringe-y to me as a follower of Christ. I had hoped the song would end with the assurance that the writer / singer had eventually found their way to salvation in Christ, but the fact that it didn't greatly disappoints me.

The thing about the Bible is God never promised us an easy life in fact it says the opposite. John 16:33…In this world you will have trouble…But He is Emmanuel, God with us. He shares our burdens and as Psalms 56:8 says He saves our tears. Sorry for the lost of your brother. Hopefully you will see him again someday.

Jill, sorry for the loss of your brother. I lost my husband of 33 yrs to pancreatic cancer. He was 56. Cancer is a cruel disease and how they suffer and linger. It's heartbreaking seeing your loved one go through this. Jesus suffered for us and our loved ones are healed now. I push through but at times still have my angry moments. It will always come in waves! Tomorrow will be 3 yrs . I pray for everyone on these posts who's lost loved ones to cancer .

I am so touched right now. This song is a Healing song. My sister just had surgery for Colon Cancer and an inlaw just passed away Wednesday with terminal cancer. I love this song and it just popped up on the feed and I just know that I was suppose to hear this song. God Bless you Rory!!😊❤❤❤
