thanks :) unfortunately i dont have a lot of advice. i play in standard 99% of the time which makes tapping melodies quite a bit harder. usually i'll just sing or hum a melody i like and then i'll see if I can recreate it on the guitar. often this means writing parts that are too hard for me to play, but it's one of the main ways I have been getting better 👌
