I totally get what you mean, I don't like to clean when other people are there as well, it's just so much more tedious! Just a note, though, I'd recommend wiping the sofa with a damp cloth after you're done vacuuming it, as damp dust is much more likely to stick to the filter in all the wrong ways. Learned the hard way 😅
