My favourite artist is pink. Firstly, she doesn't just sing about boys and how heartbroken she is, she gives me power as a female. When i listen to her music i feel strong for once and she really lifts my mood and makes me feel asif i can do anything. She is not afraid to be different and not have the clique music videos, she addresses real life issues and she does it amazingly. Her music has really helped me through tough times and i honestly think she is an amazing woman❤

My favourite artist is my big brother, Cayle. He has been drawing since he was 3 years old and drew a completely recognizable portrait of Clint Eastwood from memory. He has drawn several tattoos for his and my friends. He doesn't believe in receiving a commission for his art, because he says art should come from the heart and should be something you love and do out of passion and joy, not something to be exchanged for money. If I ever get a tattoo, I will definitely be requesting he draw it for me. His style is incredibly unique and brave with impeccable detail. I've never seen anything like it.

I think I would have to say The Eagles - especially from their song Hotel Califonia. One of the reasons being - is when I was pregnant with my little girl I used to drive a lot - and as soon as the rhythm of Hotel Califonia came on she went absolutely crazy in my tummy - it felt like she was doing the amazing guitar solo throughout the song and I would make me glow so much (and desperately hold my bladder for 4 minutes!!) . This happened every single time the song came on in the car. She is now 2 years old - and the look in her face when the song starts is like she's heard her favourite voice she hasn't heard for years - she is enlightened. Then - the air guitar dance starts. I don't listen to the song a lot - because I don't want to lose 'that feeling' that the song gives me but it was my first choice when you said 'choose your favourite artist' The Eagles gave me joy when I was pregnant and made me feel connected to my baba!

I think my favorite makeup artist has to be Mykie (Glam n Gore). She's so authentic and throughout all the time I've watched her, she never changed for bad, she's so creative and one of the reasons I'm so into makeup today! It's soothing and the lyrics are just so powerful and smooth. A lot of their songs are about real problems that a lot of people face not just depression or love or broken hearts. My favourite artist is Oscar Wilde. He's an author so maybe that doesn't count but I hope it does because my god, what a smart guy. Way ahead of his times. I've read The Picture of Dorian Gray so many times and I have 4 copies of it. The quote 'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' is his. He went through a lot of controversies (mainly because he included hints of gay relationships in his books even though this was the 19th century), but kept going with being who he is and who he wants to be. My favorite artist I would say (I have many, it's hard to choose) is Melanie Martínez because her music is just so different and unique. She doesn't write her songs just to make more money like some artist do, she just pours her heart on to each song. I also love that she promotes self-love, she just accept herself as she is and invite others to do it. Okay, so. My favourite artist is Andy Warhol. He's the one who invented pop art! I discovered him in middle school, we had to present something special for History of Arts and I made my study on him. I think he's an amazing artist. He was very open minded, smart and engaged, and had friends of all kinds (drag queens, celebs, intellectuals...). Most people have seen the Marilyn Monroe painting and I think you've seen it too! He's a truly inspiring person! Maybe you could try to make his Marilyn painting into a makeup? I personally don't have a favorite artist, I am all over the place I love all kinds of things, but if I had to choose I would probably choose Amy Winehouse, I think she has an amazing voice, I love her so because i've listened to her since I was a lil nugget 🍗 I also LOVEDD 💘 how humble she was and how she was so "common" though she is dead I will never get tired of her. Im sorta like Will Smith in I Am Legend I constantly listen to one song, untill I feel like moving on of it then I listen to a new one and the process goes on and on. Currently im in love with this cover she does of "I love you more than you'll ever know" by Donny Hathaway (pardon me if im wrong) tis a terrifically amazin song, I think you should give it a listen even if you don't like jazz

My favourite artists are All Time Low, they're all such vivid and incredible personalities. Their lyrics and music that they come up with are at times hilarious but can be a total emotion rollercoaster. The things they've individually been through are things that I've also dealt with and hearing the stories they create within their music has really pulled me up off my ass more than once.

My favourite artist is my boyfriend. Although he isnt famous and is still in college, working his way to get his graphics degree and eventually work for himself, I always adore his work and I think his sketches are amazing. I am so excited to watch him grow as an artist as he will develop new styles and improve his own and one day he will be his best self. Obviously he isnt the 'best' artist, but he is my favourite and I will always support him.

my favorite artist is my older brother. He is 23 know and never had an exact concept of what he wants to do in his future, except of playing the guitar. In this world where you get told by the society that you only earn money and have a stable future if you learn a, in there eyes 'real' job. They want to put you in any drawer, so you won't decide on the basis of your real interests. He is my hero because he had never given a fuck 'bout what everyone things its the best for him. If I had to choose one, it'd have to be Frida Kahlo. A woman way ahead of her time, Frida was a work of art within herself. The first self-portrait that I saw of her was "The Two Fridas", illustrating herself sitting with her "doppelganger". I think of that painting a lot lol. Most of her portraits reflect herself; they show her pain as well as her strength in a way that is beautifully haunting.

my favourite artist is my uncle david. we have the same birthday (besides the years we were born) and he was a big inspiration when i was growing up, me being really into visual art. last Christmas he gave me a print he made in '86. it's a really beautiful image of a nude. the story behind it is really cool too - he experimented with a copper sheet, sketching the image of the model onto the metal. when he printed the image, the copper was pressed flat. so the print i have is the only one he ever made, as the original image was destroyed after printing. when he gave me the print i was so blown away, especially with the story. no one has ever given me something like this, it was such a special gift and i love having one of his pieces. i was so touched that i was crying on christmas day haha

My favorite artist is Van Gogh and Duchamp. Van Gogh has always been a huge inspiration for the art that I make, and I love everything about them from the color combos to the swirling patterns. Duchamp is also my favorite because I studied AP Art History, and one of his pieces is in the image set, and it's literally just a urinal. (Look it up, Fountain by Duchamp). My favorite artist is Michael Jackson. Just to be ALIVE during his era was a privilege. He was able to touch so many people, he was an inspiration to so many people NO MATTER the age. Michael showed so many people the way to express themselves. He was and still is a TRUE icon, not many people can say that for themselves. When ANYONE hears a Michael Jackson song they can't help but dance that right there just screams love for an artist.

My favorite artist(band) is Bring Me the Horizon. The way their music has evolved is basically a representation of my life. I started to listen to them when I was in middle school. Their style of music was deathmetal/mainly screaming based. During this time I was super angry at the world and I struggled a lot with depression and anxiety. In 8th and 9th grade, I started to go to therapy, which helped a lot with my anger and sadness; and the music they were making was becoming more of a metalcore type deal in which there was less screaming. Finally, being a Senior in high school, I am still dealing with depression and anxiety, but not to the extent of what it was initially. The genre of music Bring Me the Horizon now does is more of an alternative rock type deal in which there is little to no screaming and they have a lot of lyrics that talk about the struggles they were dealing with, which I see it as me opening up and expressing my emotions:)

My favourite artist is probably matisse bc i love his use of colour and how he plays with the lack of it, specially in his works of women's silhouette, where he uses a specific turquoise blue that i like calling matisse blue and uses white to accentuate curves and limbs. i also love his more colourful works, all with rich vibrant colours and contrast. he's one of my biggest inspirations as an aspiring artist, along with renoir, lautrec and andy warhol. love your videos so much, xoxox

My favorite artist is Kat Von D. I'm so inspired by how amazing she is at everything. She creates all of her makeup and designs the packaging and everything. I love her aesthetic, her house is beautiful, and the things she finds fascinating is just.. everything she likes I like. I wish I was a great, creative artist just like her.
