Would you be able to set it up to run off the truck's wifi? I've tried a few dongles already and all of them make like a fake wifi connection so my phone cant be connected to the vehicle wifi and the dongle at the same time (its one or the other)

I'm not sure on that one. I know exactly what you mean on the fake wifi - my other dongle does that too.
