i think the cicadas are off due to the rain this season.. they have come out here, but i only seemed to hear them on the evenings before and on hotter temp days... they seem quieten off a when theres any sign of rain around... great cockroach footage!...thats a feed and a half for the big girl! ..hope you and your fam are havin a great start to 2024 Leo!

Of course, the Redback spider is nicknamed the Black Widow spider of Australia because of it being in same family of widow spiders, and also having the signature red hourglass mark.

B2 sure is a spritely one! Her red colouring kind of reminds me of Bin Spider 2.0, but why is the egg sack so yellow? I’ve never seen footage of them being that colour. Do you think it’s the digital camera playing tricks again?

It's a fresh lay, surely I was explaining dates or did I forget, they get lighter in time, but also get darker just before hatching
