One thing about Nathan Brown is that the former Rabbitohs coach Michael McGuire basically used him as a big battering ram. It was a though he was banned from passing or offloading. Since he joined the Eels he has become a more complete player and is a pretty decent ball player. It would have been interesting to see how he would go under Wayne Bennett, but he has definitely improved under Brad Arthur. In my view while Madge is a good coach to have won a Premiership, is seems a lot of players seem to stagnate under his lead.

Bulldogs would also regret telling Reed Mahoney he would never make it in the NRL.

I am further becoming entrenched in the belief that junior development talent should be exempted from the salary cap when playing 1st Grade for the club that developed them, or at least only count a minimal amount of their cost toward the cap. That way every club will be incentivised into, and second-handedly rewarded for, maintaining their grass-roots investments.

I don't think we regret letting rcg go, he was a bum for us in the latter years. Damien cook is also probably our biggest regret, or Shawn blore who's a future gun.

Something tells me Jonathan Thurston is the doggies biggest loss, not Damien Cook..

I wouldnt say Gagai as he started to play pretty poorly at Newcastle years back. He was outstanding due to the quality of players that the Knights had when their fallout happened with the 3 spoons. Id rate Best and Tuala over him tbh

Do you mean Angus Crichton who played with lower grade Roosters before signing with Souths and then re-joining Roosters?
